A political insider has told DUMSTER that Mayor Joe Byron has erected a shrine for what appears to be a cartoon horse in one of the janitorial closets at city hall.
Although DUMSTER reporters could not verify reports of the shrine, the political insider was able to reveal some key details: Apparently the cartoon horse is often surrounded by candles and hand-written notes. The insider said some of the photos also include a pink cartoon cat.
The mayor’s office responded to multiple questions via email with one statement: “I’m just trying to get through each day, okay?”
